I totally know what u mean!.. At first it was just a good pop song for a while but teenage dream really slapped me in the face when i was having an evening walk while the sun was setting.. It was perfect!!.. I mean i live by the hill side so the surrounding environment totally levitated the song into greater heights!!.. Now it's one of my favourite songs ever!.. Firework is cute too.. The video made that song for me.. ^_^
I find Firework quite more entertaining than Teenage Dream...
I catch myself sometimes singing: "Just own the night, like it's 4th of July" (my favorite sentence from the song LOL) and then "baby you're a firework(...)"

"Waking Up In Vegas" deserved better. "Thinking of You" did as well as I think it should have--it's a pretty ballad but it lacks a big hook.
first of all...i love ur sig...because "not like the movies" is one of my katy faves and i agree "thinking of you" deserved much better treatment than it received
