The immediate assumption upon the first listen to “American Dream” is that it’s from Sky’s yet-to-be released debut album, but a closer listen to the lyrics gives off the impression that this may have been Sky’s submission for Britney Spears’ seventh studio album — or at least Sky’s attempt at creating her very own “Piece of Me”.
