We use this word so freely here on ATRL, but it would seem the word "stan" means slightly different things to each person. We may agree on some aspects, but not all. What does "stan" mean to YOU?

I think there are very few actual stans on here, you have to be quite a bit loopy to be a real stan.

I agree. I think ATRL has a different meaning of the word "stan", than the actual real definition. I think by ATRL standards, to be a "stan", you must love and support your fave (their career and personal life), buy/***** out their music, show your love through them, occasionally drag haters, maybe take a warning point or two defending them, go absolutely nuts when you hear the slightest bit of news about new music from them, and above all, support them when/if they flop.

These are some of the reasons why I REALLY want to change my username. I'm not that kinda person
