Soulja Boy: I wrote "Whip My Hair"
The receipts on the track list says differently though: Janae Rockwell and Ronald “Jukebox” Jackson are the credited writers.
Discuss.
Because we're not here for lies and false claims.

If he did write it
It's impossible to respect him, the boy is a joke.

Oh lord
And I agree with Bea. it's just so hard to respect him. But I guess I could see how he could produce a song for a 9-year old. I mean after all, his songs would probably sound better with 9-year old rapping them.

I hope not, if so he just spoiled my favorite song.

It's called
ghost-writing
, morons. I don't like Soulja Boy, but if he wrote "Whip My Hair", kudos to him. It's
that simple.

I'm pretty sure he meant the 'hop up out the bed turn my swag on ' bit.
If so he should have a writing credit on the song.

Hahahha, he did NOT write Whip My Hair. The credits say otherwise. Official credits = fact.

It's the song he wrote for Rihanna that she rejected.

She (or whoever wrote the song) took an interpolation from his song, just like Jazmine did with "Bust Yo Windows."
