Not really. All she really said was that an announcement would be made on NYE and she said it would be the greatest night of her life. That doesn't really hype much up. It's the fans that make the hype.

No I don't think so, and like BTrisc said, she didn't really reveal that much. It was just all the anticipation and desire for new GaGa information that hyped this announcement up.
