I like the picture, but I don't think it will be a cover. "Lady Gaga" isn't on it anywhere and "Born This Way" isn't that easy to spot if you're on iTunes and looking at a very small image.

There will obviously be 2 singles before the album comes out.

They may add the text on top later, when the single's released.

I know the stans are going to kill me, but I'm really disappointed with this news.

I expected the single at the end of January and the album in March. I appreciate that she's still touring but I think it should be more organised.

The dates Gaga performed just before Christmas should have been the last dates for The Monster Ball and 2011 should be purely for Born This Way.

Though I am excited for the single, and hopefully another single before the album comes out.

Apparently none of the single/album covers will show her face.
It's to tie in with the whole "born this way is the album for everyone" theme as to opposed to focusing on the individual.

This is what I mean about people/fans overhyping the announcement. She never said she would make a "huge" announcement but everyone automatically thought it was going to be the album cover or even a snippet of the song.

BTW, that's a sofa behind/infront of her in the picture isn't it? Just curious.

But im so confused about the picture, I do like it, but its so mediocre for a Nick Knight photo.
I hope its just a promo shot and not a cover for anything. I wanted a cover in colour, with that magical feel, as in the Vanity fair and MAC shoots, with that beautiful grey weave....

I just realized that Born This Way will be released exactly 18 months after The Fame Monster.

Alright, I slept over it and I understand why they chose that date, though I am still disappointed about 5 months waiting. But if the Album is done, they are risking a leak. And if there will be 2 Singles, she could end up with sales like Teenage Dream. But I'm still excited about the Single.
