Britney doesn't have longevity? 3 debuted at number one and spent 11 consecutive weeks in the top ten. WITHOUT promotion
Womanizer spent 12 weeks in the top ten
I am anticipating What The Hell and am going to buy it but Avril should be worried. Once again-- I liked the song Alice Underground, but that performed badly. Obviously her fanbase isn't as established. If Britney released that song, it would have debuted in the top five. Avril is in quite danger. Girlfriend peaked in the middle of 2007. It's gonna be 2011 tomorrow. #justsaying

please don't get mad @ me i'm just airing my unbiased opinion. When I said Longevity, all Britney's debut singles '3" and "Womanizer" only peaked @ no . 1 and fell off the top spot after a week only. Britney's singles only rely on first week sales that's why her moderate hit single "3" debut @ no. 1 but it didn't last and fell off in the Top 10 after 2-3 weeks. And when it comes to impact. Womanizer, 3 and even Gimme More didn't have any huge impact compared to Katy, Rihanna, Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Kesha singles. Britney has been predictable since 2007. Her songs aint ****! I don't think HOIAM will have a new sound WE, even Perez Hilton highly doubt it. I'm hoping against hope HIAM will somehow leave moderate impact
I love Britney to death I hope she can match Goodbye Lullabye sales.
and don't you ever bring up Alice into this. it's only a soundtrack single! Avril will release What The Hell tonight and whatever you say it'll 100% chart @ no. 1 and WILL LEAVE HUGE IMPACT like Girlfriend. # DEAL
2011 will be Avril vs Lady Gaga Year vs Britney Yearr.
