I really love this article. It seems like nobody else is talking about it, and this is a start. I agree that artists shouldn't be leaving their background, but to say the dance music is going to phase out soon is a bit of a stretch. It definitely has staying power, and the crowd they're marketing is into this music, so nothing's changing for a long time. This trend is just getting started.
and my dad without knowing it was Rihanna, called it GUIDO FIST PUMPING music lol. And what do the guidos fist pump to? Euro House/ Euro Dance music of course.
They didn't even mention the girls who started the trend.

Completely agree with you on these! Except I would add Sexy Back to the list too. But yeah they deserve more recognition for this Dance-Pop Mainstream start.
Well Jason and Taio are definately straight up pop...and just because songs like There Goes My Baby weren't hits in the pop world doesn't mean they weren't successful...
