Mid-level R&B girls Ciara and Keri Hilson might be hooking up in 2011 for a Polow Da Don-produced collaboration. The urban hitmaker broke the news via Twitter, and then vowed that Miss Keri Baby is set to become twice as big as she already is now.
“KERI/CIARA COLABO IN 2011,” the caps lock happy producer Tweeted. “KERI WILL BE 2 OR 3 TIMES BIGGER NEXT YR”.
Polow then continued, attempting to put to bed rumors that Keri and Ciara are locked in some kind of feud.
“THEY’VE KNOWN EACH OTHER SINCE THEY WERE 14…. ME CIARA KERI LLOYD AKON LUDA TI JEEZY AND JAZZE ALL STARTED FROM NOTHING…… #ITSALLLOVE”
Keri and CiCi’s rumored beef goes back almost two years now. It first started with online speculation that Keri Hilson’s infamous “Turnin’ Me On” remix was a thinly-veiled diss to Ciara and Beyonce. Tensions were then reignited last week when Ciara made some comments on her Twitter that some people speculated may have been related to Keri Hilson, who at the time had just admitted on Hot 97 that she hoped her new album No Boys Allowed would sell more than Basic Instinct. Ciara then ‘unfollowed’ Keri on Twitter.
Is Polow just wishful thinking, or is this collaboration actually in the works? The answer should provide the true tea on whether or not Keri and Ciara actually have any kind of feud. It’s a little confusing, especially since Ciara’s latest Tweets are some cryptic messages about trying to make friends with somebody that has “bad intentions towards you”, and how “humility is the key to success”.
Any publicity is good publicity.
