#10-6
10. Rihanna 'Raining Men (featuring Nicki Minaj)' - This song lives up to the name of the album it comes from, LOUD. It's in-your-face & full of attitude, something Rihanna & Nicki Minaj are pros at, obviously. When you turn this up on your stereo you'll surely be putting it on replay afterwards.
9. Drake 'Find Your Love' - An unexpected surprise from Drake, this Kanye West-produced piece of excellence is the gem of TML. While it's not exactly hip-hop, I commend Drake for releasing a song that potentially goes against the hip-hop code. What I like about him & Nicki so much is that they aren't afraid to sing just as much as rap. They show off their other various talents. Anyway, this was one of my favorite songs of the summer for sure & still is a favorite.
8. Usher 'OMG (featuring will.i.am)' - Usher's biggest hit since the ultamassive Confessionsera, this song is sure to bring any party down. It's so full of energy & is one of will.i.am's finest productions to date. Having Usher sing the surefire hit only assures it will be a great song. One of the best worldwide #1s of the year, & I can still jam to it.
7. Katy Perry 'Teenage Dream' - Undoubtly her best song to date, this song is a great example of how much she has improved over the years. The lyrics are some of her best yet & the song is catchy enough to get stuck in your head at the best (& worst) times.
6. Maroon 5 'Misery' - This song deserved waaayyyy more success than it got, & it shows how underappreciated Maroon 5 was this year. It's M5 at their funkiest & most irrestible & captures almost every reason why I love their music.
