Has anyone seen this movie? It's from about 4 years ago, I watched it a while ago but I watched it again with some friends yesterday. I really like it, and I know it isn't a masterpiece but I was really shocked when I wiki'd the movie and saw the awful reception it got

has anyone seen it? Whats your verdict? I think it only got the poor reception because its a remake (although the title and the basic storyline are the only similarities between the two) and obviously horror geeks get mad when their fave movie is remade, and then you get old people who think gore is wrong, and so on.

I think its good how they gave the killer an actual motive as well as a background, and I also think the cast is one of the best of the past few years for a horror movie It stars Michelle Trachtenberg, Katie Cassidy, Crystal Lowe, Lacey Chabert and this generations most underrated actress, queen Mary Elizabeth Winstead.

Overall its a fun and somewhat scary movie, I know I was terrified the first time I saw it.

I watched this a few days ago for the first time. I thought it was quite good for it's ****** reviews. Agnes is so ****ing creepy at the end.

I didn't like the movie.

The original isn't all that great either, but it feels more authentic and less forced. All these remakes of random movies , the desperation.

tbh, i wouldnt really class this as a remake anyway. The similarities are so vague, its more of a re-imagining or based upon the original.

OMMFG you guys like that movie???that **** was HORRIBLE!!the original black christmas is one of my favorite horror movies.this movie was flat out disresepctful to the orignal..ughh it makes me mad lol.im trying to become a director.and if that goes good im gonna remake the remake of this and do the original justice.lmao im serius but i loved the cast in this.they just had a shittious storyline and script.
