Question: Did Your Favorite Artist Ever Got Snub Before?
Did Your Favorite Artist Ever Got Snub Before?
I know Madonna had before!
1. I feel like the Grammy snubbed "Like A Prayer" by not giving it a nod for Song of The Year or Record of The Year. I also feel like the album " Like A Prayer" should been nod Album of The Year.
2. I feel like the Oscar snubbed Madonna for her winning Golden Globe role in Evita.
I feel like Ke$ha hasn't been snubbed. I'm not delusional; I know TiK ToK is not Grammy worthy despite being a huge commercial success. I'm satisfied with the certifications she has gone, despite being such a new artist.
But the 'new artist' excuse ain't gonna cut it for much longer, so Ke$ha needs to work it out.
Yes, Hilary should have gotten a Grammy nomination in the dance categories for Dignity back in 2008. The album was just a upward movement in her music career.
Beyoncé: MTV VMAs usually gives her numerous nominations for ratings but I think she is snubbed by not winning as much as she should/deserves, example, in 2007. But still, she is nominated. The Oscars & Golden Globes snubbed Cadillac Records.
Kelis: her whole career is snubbed. SMH.
Janelle Monae: the Grammys snubbed her album for next year's ceremony.
Kanye West: snubbed last year by the Grammys.
Alicia Keys: first time ever one of her albums receives zero nominations at the Grammys.
Janet has always been sort of snubbed by the Grammys. She has 6, but none of them have been main awards, and she's never won an album award. Control, Rhythm Nation 1814, janet. and The Velvet Rope all deserved SOMETHING.
Madonna was snubbed for Erotica too.
It's not a snub, but nobody was disappointed like Mariah at the 1996 Grammys.
I felt like Bad Romance was snubbed at the Grammy nominations, I think it should have been nominated for Song or Record of the Year, but I'm not too disappointed because Gaga got many nominations elswhere.
