One of Gaga's great strengths as an artist is her ability to evoke strong feelings. People love her or they resent her. The Britney stans are a great example of this ability she has. It will serve her well.

I am pretty sure Gaga will definitely debut with AT LEAST 350K+ with this album, with an okay single. If the single smashes, I expect near Britney numbers of 450-600K

It's not out the question, but would be extremely hard to get. I definitely see anything as low as 300K to as high as 650K. Around 450K+ is expected, with a no.1 or no.2 debut, depending if she releases the same week as Britney

What? I totally expect her to make at least 600K with this album. The buzz is HUGE at this point, and let's not forget that she basically conquered the world with her tour. Pop stars never sell as much, but this is too big an event.

Really? It's not easy to sell that much. Look @ Britney and Bey, with their hype. They sold 500K and 400K even with the hype. I do expect a lot, at least 400K, but I wouldn't be very sure with AT LEAST 600K, even though it's possible

It's different. Britney and Bey have been here for a long time now. Gaga crossed over big time, especially in what concerns age demographics, this year. I mean really. The buzz around this album is already huge and I can't even imagine how it's gonna be by the end of January. She may very well do those numbers. Just think about it. People who go to her show leave being 10x bigger fans than they were before. If half of the people go out and buy the album, that would be 10 thousand per show, correct? With approximately 60 locations in the US there you go, 600k.

every fan wont buy her album. a majority will, but not all of them will.

300-500k in the US, and possibly 1M ww (b/c you know Japan, UK, France, Spain, etc. is into her music).

1 million will be easily achievable. US & UK alone will provide more than half of that. Thats if UK buyers flock to the stores first week out, and judging by her sales I wouldn't doubt it.

My first introduction to the world of "stanning" was Britney stans turning her imdb message board into a disaster of a zoo (it's mostly not moderated).

It was so surprising to me when I first went there, b/c you don't see that in film - Julia Roberts fans don't go on Sandra Bullock's page and troll her.

Naturally though, I have no problem responding, and since that board isn't moderated, well it wasn't pretty.
