Her label would NOT let her release "ok" material. They are not dumb. They know this is the most important thing since the release of her very first single.

They let the BEPs release less-than-OK material.

I'm still waiting to hear praise for the album from an unbiased source. Until then, I'll be nervous.

Gaga's not gonna flop guys, come on. She's at the peak of her powers and apparently on a very steep, upward trend. Even if the first single underwhelms, she'll sell big numbers of this album.

And I agree with you Nicole. Even if it's not really "make or break" for Gaga, this album has the chance to be massive. As in a Like a Prayer/Thriller moment in pop history. I hope she delivers.

As long as it doesn't blend in with the rest of what's on the radio. I have high expectations. And on BEP, there really weren't that many choices for the first single that would've made "The Time" look like a horrible decision. The album is **** from start to finish.
