Eminem is the epitome of a pop fan's rapper. The majority of his albums are trash even though his skill is up to par. For a lot of his fans, Eminem is the only rapper they actually listen to.

Eminem is good but he got his fanbase mocking pop stars on his stupid videos... until he kinda flopped with his last attemp of getting attention that way and finally decided to make a good album using his talent...

Jay-Z is just Jay-Z.... no one can top his force when it comes to rap and hip-hop...

The Blueprint 3 is the only of his albums I have really appreciated. Jay's voice gets a little....irritating after a while.

I love Eminem though, but the whole irritation thing applies too. But I like Eminem a lot better overall.

If we are talking music wise, Jay-Z.

Eminem is definitely a more skilled rapper but his quality of music has gone down, especially with Encore and Relapse. Jay has been able to, mostly, make good music throughout his career.

Kanye kicks both their asses IMO though
