Why is everyone freaking out?

Avril has matured as an artist, but she even stated this song is the least "personal" to her on the album AND she made a note saying she had to go back into the studio to make the album more "fun".

I'm sure we'll see Avril's growth and maturity on the other songs on the album and "What the Hell" was just a label choice. I doubt Avril was naturally inclined to put it on the album if it wasn't for the label's intervention.

Yeah. Avril's done a much better job at fighting it though. She's got things done mostly her way. Of course, she's had to pay, but in the end I'm betting her album will be amazing, and she'll be quite successful next year.

Yeah, i was afraid that she would flop harder than Christina but my fear has been a bit less since the snippet came out. At least she will find success somewhere elese outside the state !
