That actually leads me into the next question because many people assume that since Rihanna doesn’t write or produce most of her songs that she is merely a puppet. Is there any truth to that or does she get knee deep like Ciara in the work of the creative process?

You’re killing me man {laughs}! No I wouldn’t say she’s a puppet. She definitely has an opinion of what she likes. My record was actually one of the records that weren’t slated to make the album and Rihanna really loved the record. At the end of the day, she had to love it for it to make the album.

So she’s not a puppet; she has a mind of her own. She is busy, though, I’ll tell you that. Sometimes you need a team to help you make decisions and you just have to trust your team at that point.

I think it's stupid...Ciara needs to STOP trying to ~~sing~~ whisper and just put out a hot up-beat album...I'm thinking a song like 'Promise' is about as slow it'll get.

We aren't here for video's like SPEECHLESS Ciara!!!....and damnit, labels need to quick acting like urban music is that dead. It can be revived as long as you put some effort into hot music. Ciara, go back to your damn roots girl. Ditch the ballads and pop ****, and give me ass shaking dance music. That's clearly her zone.....it just puzzles me why 'Get It Girl' didn't make her album and that poor excuse for reggae 'Wants For Dinner' did!!

she already did that with BI. She needs go back but also evolve, she needs to add something new, starting from the image, maybe a change in hairstyle, haircolor, something to make people talk. Musicallyi have no idea, urban music is not doing good at all, she might just want to go for some pop hits to get new fans, since her urban fans are not that many as of now. She is still pretty young so she should try to reinvent herself and do something out of the box
