The debut album of the new Young Money star, Nicki Minaj. Nicki proved in this album that she is not just a "features girl", and can do it all on her own. I don't like the production of some songs, but I still love the lyrics. The songs are really enjoyable and fun, with emotional tracks such as 'Dear Old Nicki' and 'Fly' which features Rihanna
, and the typical Nicki tracks such as 'I'm The Best'. The bonus tracks, 'Super Bass' & 'Girls Fall Like Dominoes' are amazing and even better than couple of tracks on Pink Friday. These type of songs is what made me fall in love with Nicki, her outrageous and funny style of rapping, and the image, personality and style she has built up in the features, but didn't really personalize in the album, which she did do in the bonus tracks. I wish that she brought more of '
that' Nicki to the album.
Standouts: "Moment 4 Life", "Fly", "Save Me", "I'm The Best", "Roman's Revenge", "Your Love", "Dear Old Nicki".
Should Have Been on the Album: Girls Fall Like Dominoes, Super Bass, Girlfriend.
