Bear with me, since I literally decided to make this less than an hour ago. I'll make it look better later.
#50-46
50. The Black Eyed Peas 'Just Can't Get Enough' - Starting off the countdown is one of my favorite tracks from their new album, The Beginning. Very nicely done & the beat change at the end keeps things going when it gets a bit drawn out.
49. Nicki Minaj 'Check It Out (featuring will.i.am)' - While this song isn't exactly... original, it's fun. will.i.am does his thing & Nicki delivers some good verses, both with & without autotune. We'll be seeing a lot more of Nicki later on.
48. Nelly 'Move That Body (featuring T-Pain & Akon)' - Hot beat, hot verses, hot chorus, & it is much better than the dull Just a Dream, which burnt out for me quickly.
47. Mike Posner 'Please Don't Go' - Speaking of better second singles than first ones, PDG is a huge improvement from his big breakthrough hit, CTM. Mike's gruff vocals somehow end up mixing perfectly with the tracks strong synths & top-notch production. Well-done.
46. Ke$ha 'Your Love Is My Drug' - Addicting & displays most of the reasons Ke$ha is the guilty pleasure that she is. I could not get this out of my head at one point.
By the way, no songs that existed before 2010 are on this. As in, if the song debuted Pre-2010 but wasn't released as a single or something until 2010, it won't be on here.
45. Ciara 'Speechless' - Sexy & captivating, this is one of the best songs of Ciara's career. Her smooth vocals mix perfectly with the hypnotizing backdrop. This song is vastly underrated.
44. Kanye West 'Monster (featuring Jay-Z, Rick Ross, Bon Iver & Nicki Minaj)' - One of the best hip-hop records of the year. The beat is simplistic but eerie, fittingly, and each of the rappers give the song all they've got. But no one delivered quite like Nicki, whose verse is unforgettable & should convince she is here to stay.
43. Taylor Swift 'Back to December' - Currently the second single from her double platinum Speak Now, this song is excellent for the fall/winter season. Singing about lost love, Taylor's vocals are what really make the song stand out. What's more impressive is she wrote the song all by herself,
42. Chris Brown 'Yeah 3X' - This dancepop single will always be able to get you moving. Hopefully this can be Chris's comeback on the pop side of things, because this song is way too good to be wasted.
41. Katy Perry 'Last Friday Night (TGIF)' - Katy knows how to perfectly describe a Friday night gone crazy,
& does it while making an extremely fun track. It will be a damn shame if this isn't made a single in 2011.
