'Taylor Swift's Fearless was cited last year. Alicia Keys' As I Am came out on top in 2008. Carrie Underwood's Some Hearts scored for 2006.'
Did people complain when Taylor won? When Alicia won? When Daughtry won? When Carrie won? No. Now when Susan Boyle wins, everybody complains. Always picking on the little guys....
Like, I know Susan sold well, but the whole November to November thing gives way too much of an advantage to people who take advantage of holiday sales, while people who release in the middle of the summer and are able to pull comparable numbers are slighted.
Maybe my argument is not that strong...but still, it is what it is. There's nothing that can be done to change the Endyear process that has sat for a long time
Susan is #1 according to Billboard and we have to deal with it.
How about you shut up and not complain about it!? You wanna bitch and complain, take it to the NHB thread or somewhere else. It's always been like this. Susan Boyle deserved it more than Eminem!
This goes for all of you who hate on non-mainstream. I think it's about time some of you appreciated the lesser-known artists to the public rather than bash them because they're not top 40 worthy. There is thousands of other great music out there but some of you never even bother to check it out and only limit yourself to top 40. Susan Boyle proves my point completely.
Though I will openly say that to me she is one of the most boring singers I have ever heard, the method to her madness worked!
So Mister Unaah, you FAIL. Bring a better argument than what you just gave!
how about you **** off ?...most of the times this case didnt happen...whoever got the best selling album happened to sell alot in the same year...not 80% IN THE PREVIOUS ****IN YEAR
