Some new articles have come up about Utada's relationship with her old English label.
TITO had basically no promotion at all on purpose. After her Radio tour in the middle of last year, she received NO help from her label at all. Technically, the tour that she did at the end of last year was completely unauthorized by Island Def Jam. She did it completely of her own free will with U3MUSIC as a treat to her US fans and most likely lost money as a result.
I'm glad she left them, what a damn useless label, she could have done so much more
