And there goes another one, Nicola Roberts the youngest member of British superstar girl band Girls Aloud will be the fourth member of the band going solo. First there was Cheryl Cole & the most successful member of the band with 2 number one solo albums that first went public which the fact she would be making a solo album away from Girls Aloud while the band have a "break". Then Nadine came out with a solo album releasing her first official solo album "Insatiable" but even with the catchy upbeat first single, the album fail to enter on a top 10 slot on the UK album charts and landed the 47 slot. Then Kimberley, even thought no solo album has officially been confirmed, Miss Walsh has recently done a collaboration with Aggro Santos on a track titled "Like U Like" and will mark the start of Kimberley's solo career, and now little Nicola is going it alone. according to The News Of The World the star has signed to Universal Records, she was offered a "mega bucks" contract with the label and has already made half the album, more details should come along soon about the album, so now just one to go, i can't see the Girls Aloud reunion happening any time soon with how busy these girls are. Enjoy!!
source said: "Everyone's so excited about Nicola releasing her own album.
"She's very quietly been recording in the studio for the last few months. She's working with some great people and coming up with some great stuff.
"She's being guided by a lot of people who have been involved with Girls Aloud in the past so it's going to be a great record."
i love her!! but Girls Aloud as a group was heaven, them going solo seems a bit difficult. Cheryl will probably be the only one to achieve something i mean. Nadine Coyle sold like 2000 copies with her album on the first week
I am excited!! She's a sweet and talented woman.. I hope she will get great succes! So the girlgroups are over in the UK? Girls Aloud, Sugababes,All Saints,Spice girls... From the US... Destiny's Child,Pussycatdolls,TLC,Danity Kane... Thats sad... I hope Girlicious will release very soon worldwide so the huge boybands like Take That/JLS have some girl power to compete with like in the 90's with all the girl/boybands
