So many critics said last year that Rated R was one of the the best albums in 2009 yet it doesn't get any nominations?At least Russian Roulette could have been nominated for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance . And I can't at Rihanna stans being happy with LTWYL nominations, it could have been other person singing it it would have still been nominated, there are no reasons to celebrate. How come Janelle Monae isn't nominated on Best New Artist nor Best Album Of The Year? Teenage Dream getting that many nominations including Album Of The Year ? Really? .
Nowadays I don't see any differences between the MTV awards and the Grammy awards
Rihanna didn't submit Russian Roulette. She submitted Rude Boy for Best Female Pop Vocal.
And Janelle wasn't submitted for Best New Artist.
Bieber doesn't deserve his nominations. I'm happy for Paramore and really surprised at Katy's nominations. Hope Eminem take everythong home, he deserves it. Also rooting for Muse, B.o.B and Florence on the "New Artist" category.
The Grammys gonna suck so bad, nothing will save it, looking at the nominations, you would think it's a wack version of the Teen Choice Awards or some ackward ****. They snubbed too many and at least when you snubbed some of the mainstream songs/artists, make sure you choose some excellent out of the box artists/songs. I'm disappointed. Does Kelis with her brilliant album even have a nom in the Dance categories? SMH. Janelle Monae, Rihanna, Christina, Alicia, Bad Romance? Janelle Monae deserved more. I mean Teenage Dream in AOTY & not The Archandroid? Christina flopped but she got the voice grammys. Rated R deserved a nom in Best Contemporary R&B album SMH. I wouldnt be surprised if Gaga loses in her categories. Ridiculous. Congrats to Jay, Bey & Chris. Congrats to Bey for being the most nominated female artist in History at 29. Hopefully Halo will win 2 years in a row & she deserves it.
I'm disappointed... because 'You Lost Me' deserved AT LEAST a nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance... I wasn't expecting anything for Bionic (the album) because of the bad reviews and commercial failure, but even with YLM flopping, it's still one of the best vocal performances of the year... so yeah, I'm quite disappointed.
I really hope she wins album of the year at least!!!
