Is AOTY the only televised award she is nominated for?

I think i'm the only one who anticipates her first MV for BTW era rather than the first single itself. I don't know. It's just that GaGa always delivers when it comes to MV. I can already imagine how her video will be huge, expensive, iconic, shocking, jaw dropping, great choreo and of course lots of incredible outfit. Is it safe to assume that she will wear another McQueen for her first single's MV? i mean, she wore his 2010 s/s collection for bad romance (where i was screaming like a lil girl looking at those crazy shoes being worn by her) and his f/w collection for vanity fair and vma.

althou he's gone, i hope gaga will still be wearing more mcqueen. it suits her perfectly. i just saw this shoes from his latest collection and i instantly think how incredible it will be if it appears on her next music video. its just so gaga and fits the theme for BTW (the collection itself was creationism-themed)

Guys, I'm really into the Grammys. Lemme enlighten you on some issues:

1. The Blue Ribbon panel is like this group of jerks who decide the nominations beforehand and then submit them as nominees for the whole academy to vote. It is now generally accepted that Bad Romance was screwed because it being nominated in SOTY and ROTY would imply 8 nominations for Gaga. She would've won SOTY hands down, and they knew it. That's the only reason. Bad Romance sh*t all over those tired *ss nominees, especially the ROTY ones (Nothin' On You and Need You Now? For real?)

2. She will probably take all 5 Grammys except for Album of the Year. Forget about that one. That's Eminem's with Arcade Fire as a spoiler. It's virtually impossible for her to win. They will most likely make emends for the monumental snub to Bad Romance and award her everywhere, where she deserves. She will win all 5. And she MUST win Short Form Music Video. I mean I'll die if she doesn't.

3. She'll definitely premiere the single at the Grammys. And the album will be out in March, and, like many of you are saying, probably on her birthday. No way will she wait 4 months between first single and album release, especially with all the promo lined up, from Vogue cover, to Anderson Cooper, to the premiere of Gnomeo and Juliet, and god knows what else they're arranging for her.

I'm done with the Fame Monster. She'll most likely be nominated for Born this Way at the Grammys next year, breaking the record for being the only artist to be nominated for AOTY three years in a row.

Do you think they nominated TFM only because of Beyonce? I mean, they snubbed her in ROTY and SOTY and there's no explanation for that except that they probably wanted to be less mainstream this year. And I think they wouldn't nominate TFM either if Bey wasn't on it.

Yeah probably. Either that or they want Eminem to take this in a cakewalk, and let's face it, no way in hell will Gaga win that category.

Less mainstream? They went ape sh*t over LTWYL's whinefest chorus, over Nothin' On You, one of the most annoying chorus ever, and Need You Now, the blandest track of the past 5 years. Bad Romance is indeed one of the best pop records of all time, and no one can deny it, as much as the Grammy's snub it. I truly believe it was because they don't want her to win this year.

I mean, let's not forget, Madonna wasn't nominated for anything for Like a Prayer, one of THE pop classics. Nuf said in what concerns the Grammy's credibility.

Can't wait to hear the first single, but February just seems so far away from now.

I seriously doubt they nominated TFM for AOTY just because Beyonce was a feature on one track....that would be a HOT MESS on the part of anyone to use that logic. TFM obviously was a great album and deserved to be recognized as such.

I agree with vozas. There's no way she's winning AOTY, this is Eminem's big comeback year, but I think the main category snubs will help her pick up most of her other nominations.

But there must be a reason for BR not being nominated in ROTY/SOTY.

I can sorta understand them snubbing it for song. I think there is public perception that Gaga's songs are catchy but the lyrics can be "stupid" with all the phonetic repetition stuff... which is stupid cuz Bad Romance has awesome lyrics.

I really don't get the ROTY snub, though. Talk about a hot production.

I have the feeling Gaga will not win AOTY, but that would be incredible. I just don't think she will because of Eminem. Well I am pretty sure Born This Way will get nominated for AOTY.

I hope she does not perform anything from TFM -_- Unless it is Telephone with Beyonce, I am expecting Gaga to perform her first single from BTW

I just gave you guys reasons for that. She would've DEFINITELY won SOTY much like Single Ladies won last year. It wasn't about voting. The sh*tty blue panel decides this for voters to pick later. They knew Gaga would've taken Song of the Year.
