WAILF? isn't a ballad, but it's a midtempo. I think it's one of the highlights of the album, but a lot of people dislike it. That could & should be a surprise single choice

Maybe it's premature to say that, but I don't see her keeping up this pace.

A lot of the reason for her success was that, while she did things that had been done before, to this generation it felt shockingly new and fresh.

But now that shock and surprise are over, we know what to expect from her.

So basically BTW could ultimately make or break her?

Two major questions:

How significant is that Rock influence going to be in the future? A side project? Mainline album? Just a few tracks?

and

how will the fanbase/mainstream audience respond to that? Do people who are into Rock music also care about Lady Gaga?

To me it's not just her, it's everyone. I just don't get that excited about music these days, I guess it's just not how it used to be.

No. I'm never the one to make that statement although a lot of her stans/critics do.

If BTW flops then she's not going to fade into obscurity, she'll have numerous chances in future. If it fails it would be a major setback to her career. Thus far GaGa's career has constantly been gaining in momentum, her material has progressed and with time she has become more popular. BTW's challenge is to be able to maintain that momentum.

She's like the only hope I have left.

I'm going to trust her and believe that the album is going to be as great as she says it is.

She's already been made, she's one of the most famous personalities in the world.

I don't think it will break her as she said this album will mostly be sick dance beats. But it might disappoint and significantly slow down her momentum.

That's what I meant when I said the challenge for BTW is to maintain her momentum.
