No stanning. No arguments about who sold more, or "who has the better voice." Which artist has the best catalog of singles - songs that people will love and cherish for years to come? Which artist has songs that were loved by the four quadrants - mainstream critics, hipster intelligentsia, peers and audience?

It's pretty clear to me that there could only be one answer.

Britney. By miles.

Britney. Christina doesn't have that many memorable singles to be honest. As for quality, that's subjective but I would still side with Brit.

I personally think for my age Xtina had the girl anthems.
Geenie, What A Girl Wants, Come on Over.

And she has Beautiful & Lady Marmalade.
But besides that Britneys songs will be remembered more.

Though I think Back to Basics helped her cross over to a huge horizon of people, and Britney will never be able to get out of her Bubble gum pop type fan base.

So I don't know who to pick because I love ballads too much to count X-Tina out.

Britney by far....the only thing Christina has the slight edge in is ballads...but Britney's overall single catalog is better.

Personally, I prefer Britney. But I'm not here to argue quality. Just in terms of who, ultimately, has the more successful catalogue, I would put forth the following observation...

Christina songs that will be remembered:
Beautiful

Britney songs that will be remembered:
Baby One More Time, Oops... I Did It Again!, Slave 4 U, Toxic

X, her songs are diverse, and always amazing.

Vote for the person who didn't release Can't Hold Us Down.

Or Candyman,

Or Keeps Gettin' Better.

Or NOT MYSELF TONIGHT.

I agree with this. I was fully ready to vote for Britney but things like Beautiful, Voice Within and Hurt are cherished a lot for different reasons, too.

This is a Brit fan site for the most part, so this poll's kinda useless.
