Cheryl Cole is set to perform her upcoming fifth single 'The Flood', the second single to be taken from her latest album 'Messy Little Raindrops'. Other performers include N-Dubz and Take That, and will be hosted by comedian Michael McIntyre.

I think that this could become her first flop. I'm still not sold on it, I don't think it's strong enough to be a single.

After the video, I've started appreciating the song more, but I still wish she had released "Happy Tears" instead.

I don't dislike the song, but it's her weakest single to date. Her popularity is starting to fade. Promise This was arguably her best single IMO and that fell rapidly after it went to #1. The best I'm hoping for Messy Little Raindrops is 2x Platinum. I can't see it selling enough to be certified 3x platinum like 3 words.

I LOVE it, it's my fave song of the year

It is by far her weakest single to date, all of her previous singles are brilliant. And both the album and the single are rapidly losing popularity which is surprising to me, I think it could be because of the lack of promotion.

And either "Yeah Yeah", "Everyone" or "Happy Tears" should have been released instead of "The Flood" as the follow-up to "Promise This".

Great I'd rather this than another X Factor performance.

I said it once, and I shall say it again. Singles should go:

1. Promise This
2. Yeah Yeah
3. The Flood
4. Hummingbird / Happy Tears
5. Waiting

i hate how her new stuff aint doin that well. She needs to focus more on her solo career, the x factor consumes most of her time rite now, she needs to promote more just like she did last year.

I'm interested to see how she will do singing this live (that's if she does sing it live).
