"Poker Face" by Lady Gaga, easily among the most recent songs in the competition. Though Lady Gaga has a huge stanbase on ATRL, she has a fair number of detractors as well. And "Poker Face," as it turns out, is simultaneously one of her most loved and most hated tracks. That kind of polarity can be a hard thing to overcome, but it made an impressive run all the way to the top five. In fact, in earlier rounds with bigger targets, "Poker Face" often ended up with positive vote totals. However, with the number of contenders now so small, it seems that its time had simply come.

I mean, if a song is great, it's great, no matter when it was released. Just because "Poker Face" was released only 2 years ago doesn't mean it's not one of the best pop songs of the last decade. But you're certainly not obligated to like it...
