I can't wait!!! I've been waiting way too patiently for this album. I'll be camping out in front of that CD store when this album comes out.
Evanescence will SLAY!!
I can't believe we still haven't gotten the Legends And Lyrics or the "Half way down the stairs" cover she did.
They're probably not releasing the performance of Your Love yet because it's new material and they're most likely waiting until the album drops out. that's the only explanation..... I mean otherwise they wouldn't have released the Bring Me To Life Performance either!
As for the cover.... I have no idea why it's taking so long!
still waiting for the REAL follow up to their first album
The Open Door did them justice, there is no doubt about that. But I doubt that there will be another album like Fallen since Ben Moody is not in the band anymore.
We Are the Fallen's album is basically Fallen 2.0.
Not quite either... Fallen was the result of both Amy's and Ben's musical skills and inspiration. They were like completing each other. We Are the Fallen's album sounds like Evanescence but there's something missing and that is probably the part where Amy contributed on Fallen .
I hope that the album will come out by March or late February, if the situation with Wind Up (being sold to Sony or other record company) is true and hasn't been sorted out by the end of this year, the album might be delayed until Summer or Fall of next year. It would be awesome to ring the new year with a new single.

I don't think that's the case since Amy said that she was hoping that the Legends & Lyrics and the Muppets soundtrack would tie the fans over while waiting for the new album. Unfortunately, all the things she has done have been delayed so far :X.
As for Legends & Lyrics, I think majority of the fans gave up on that one especially the show not saying anything about the airing or cancellation of Season 2 when they're already filming Season 3. . Same with the Muppets.

I mean they released The Last Song I'm Wasting On You, which was nothing special,
I think that TLSIWOY is better than all the ballads on the album, it's very raw and powerful. Actually, I think that it's their best ballad after Before the Dawn. Although I can see why they didn't put it on the album .
Here's something newsworthy, 2 months old but still

EVANESCENCE Drummer Says New Songs Are 'Amazing' - Oct. 7, 2010
Radio Metal recently conducted an interview with EVANESCENCE/BLACK LABEL SOCIETY drummer Will Hunt.
Radio Metal: What is your actual role in EVANESCENCE? At the beginning, you only played drums during gigs. What's your role in the band now?
Hunt: I'm the drummer, and I can write songs as well. We've been in the studio, and I've brought in a couple of guitar riffs that have become songs. Lately, in the last few months, there's been a real band dynamics. It's kind of a band situation right now.
Radio Metal: Do you have any new information about the release of the album?
Hunt: All I can say is that Amy's a very hard worker. She's very critical of herself. It's important to her that the album is up to her expectations first and foremost. She's gonna take as long as she wants to take doing it. As a fan and a bandmember, I wish things were a little quicker, but at the end of the day, I totally respect how she wants to do this. And I understand, because it's a very important and critical album for EVANESCENCE, so it has to be exactly right. I know why she's taking her time on it. It will be ready when it's ready.
Radio Metal: Do you share Amy's extreme enthusiasm for the new compositions? She describes them as "the best EVANESCENCE compositions since the beginning of the band." What do you think of the new songs?
Hunt: Honestly, I think it's amazing. I think she's taken some real big risks. As artists, I think it's important that we challenge ourselves to find new ground. If you look at any band in history who's done really well, they continue to reinvent themselves and be relevant. It's always going to sound like EVANESCENCE, 'cause it's Amy Lee singing, but the vehicle for that voice can be different and still be EVANESCENCE. I think people are gonna be pleasantly surprised, because all the really cool elements, the things people love about the EVANESCENCE of the past are still there. But there are new colors in the pattern. There's a lot of cool new things going on, both electronically and futuristically. I think she's doing something that's very special and hasn't been done before. I'm a supporter, I think it's killer. It's really good.

I hope they decided to finish and include the song they used as the intro during their NYC/Brazil concert last year on the album.
