OK, but I hope he knows that people like the Jonas Brothers and Jesse McCartney (and as much as I stan her, Hilary Duff) didn't get involved with drugs or **** up their lives... that's not always what happens. Most teen stars fade out simply because the public loses interest.

Teen pop is one of the worst genres an artist can get into. They have huge success for a few years, but as soon as their fans hit 18, they're history. (The Jonas Brothers are a PRIME example of this - they were the Beatles of the 2000s in terms of popularity and now their show is canceled and they can't sell albums.)

Exactly. Bieber's image is too fluffy for his own good. He has no appeal whatsoever to guys (or at least most of them) or adults, and very little appeal to older teenagers. Those demographics are generally the most loyal and he will have problems not being able to reach them due to his music and image. The Beliebers can say they'll love him forever, but didn't girls used to say that about the Backstreet Boys and Jesse McCartney?

Because that post was directed at you specifically, and you represent the entirety of ATRL. It was a generalized statement, dumbass, and it's absolutely true. Male artists on ATRL are responded to with either hate or disinterest compared to female ones. People use the "too young" or "prepubescent" thing against Bieber but Willow is almost universally worshiped here, creating a double standard. The fact that you "like" some male artists doesn't invalidate my statement whatsoever, not that I would believe you anyway because this is the internet and people will say anything to give weight to their argument.
