Well, she did say that she was going to reveal her album title and tattoo she got of it on New Years but then she promised us via the VMAs blah blah blah and we already got it. So maybe now we'll get the first single on New Years. Maybe she'll tweet a download link.

Hahaha, I know right? It's a shame. I mean come on it's a sh*tty fan voted award. Why get so upset? That's what I don't appreciate about Katy. The importance she gives to #1s, awards, airplay, relevance. She focuses so much on that that she forgets how limited a singer she is and how much she jeopardizes her true talent (songwriting and singing rockier ballads like Teenage Dream) in favour of producing embarrassing and mediocre records like California Gurls. She survives because she has a very clear vision of carefree and, let's be frank, stupidity which she wants to pass on her songs and videos.
I was very surprised by Teenage Dream, the song, and the video, because of how toned down they were and how they showed that that's what she's good at. She could gain respect if she focused more on that niche, even if it's at the expense of getting the #1s she so desperately wants to.
Gaga won't flop, trust me. Even if the single isn't as good as Bad Romance.
And let's face it. If she matches or *gulp* surpasses the epicness of Bad Romance, that's a huge feat in itself, which will certainly reflect on sales.
Gaga can't flop :O
She has so many fans, that'd buy that - no matter how good the Single will be.
And Gaga makes only good music, I cant imagine her next Single won't be good.
