Way too harsh. I agree that some of the performances were bad, but he gave half of them Ds or Fs. That's crazy! I'm guessing this critic is more of an indie music fan, considering he expressed open contempt for just about every song performed. Nevertheless, this review did make laugh out loud:

The LA Times has lost all credibility. Last year they gave Rihanna an A for that mess she stumbled through this year she gets a C-? C'mon son.

However most of the critiques and grades were accurate. Kinda harsh at parts but very accurate.
