I found a lottttttttttt a lotttt on my ex's e-mail! and it was a special type e-mail, just to chat with others... and fake fb accounts, txt msgs... I vote yes, because, if someone really loves you, he wouldn't mind picking in the mail or phone...

I am so sorry gurl, I know how you feel. And I totally agree about the last part. Sure, people want/need their privacy, but when you're dating them, everything should be out in the open. They shouldn't be sneaking and texting/calling/facebooking people, especially when you're around them.

Well between my boyfriend and I we don't really have a 'line' to cross. He looks at my phone, I look at his and it isn't a big deal for either of us, I know I'm not gonna find anything dodgy and he knows likewise. I tend to look at his phone to laugh at our friends, he gets crazy random text messages.

But then again, I kind of live with him part time and when you live with someone, there has to be complete trust and no secrets.

It's not ever right or wrong, it depends on the people and the relationship. If a partner doesn't want you looking it tends to mean they have something to hide.

I agree with a previous posts, if someone really loves you (and has nothing to hide) they just wouldn't care.

I myself wouldn't mind my future gf going through my personal communication records....as long as she wouldn't mind me playing games on her iphone after I roll my eyes at her facebook stuff.

I most definitely would look if I felt there was something going on. My b/f wouldn't. Hell, 90 percent of my friends are guys and he still doesn't look through my emails/texts. I looked through his email randomly one time and there was nothing but nerd stuff
