It's different. Gaga's much bigger now. And I didn't think Bad Romance would go one rightway.

But tbh I thought "Mine" was going to debut at number one and it didn't(but there was the leaking, etc..)

It's bad enough that songs that sell 235K go to no.1...but songs that open with 295K, and even 325K debut at no.2

If theres no major releases its pretty easy to go number one with lower sales, since the chart is pretty open.

The more competition, the harder to go number 1, so obviously youd need much higher sales

Hence, it all comes down to good timing of release

Hmmm a good point.But for me Its hard to say which carries more weight - chart positon, or actual sales.

I always say having a #1 single or an album is just a number that depends on luck,so I could careless if Gaga will have a #1 album or a #1 single,along as her sales are high
