DREAMS came true for a seriously ill peninsula teenager last Friday night when her wish to meet singer and actress Christina Aguilera was granted.
Following a barbecue with family, friends and volunteers, Make-A-Wish Australia presented 17-year-old Matilda with tickets to Los Angeles.
A stunned Matilda was told that as well as meeting her idol, Make-A-Wish had organised for her to meet stars of the movie Burlesque, in which Aguilera has a starring role alongside Cher. Matilda's parents and sister will fly out with her to America on November 10.
