Wait, won't their albums just chart on the Comprehensive & Top Pop Catalog album charts, like Michael's did? I can only imagine how much they're going to sell.

They changed that rule because of Michael's chart domination. The Comprehensive Chart is now the current BB200, and the old BB200 is now the Current Albums Chart.

LOL I certainly don't love the Beatles' music but this is obviously a huge deal for the music industry. They deserve the huge banners.

Rihanna will sell regardless of the circumstances. Everyone knows her album is out anyway.

for those who have the opportunity to complete their beatles collection that way.That's HUGE. I'm sure "let it" be will be the highest charting of their songs. I hope it'll be "Come together" though, it's my favorite song but I highly doubt that.

As a society we need to get over this concept that dissing old boybands like the Beatles invalidates your overall artistic taste. Objectively, the Beatles were a poor band, poor singing, poor musicianship, but decent songwriting skills. It is no crime to admit this. When performed by others, some of their songs come alive. But when performed by themselves their stuff is no better than any lame garage band. Their music is not special. You don't have to pretend that it is. Everyone needs to stop pretending.

Please. Cool for you that you don't like their music but don't act like it's a general fact because IT IS NOT!!!
I do love their music and I don't understand how somebody can invalidate the amazing work they put out like you just did. So you're telling me that the millions people that bought their albums did because of pretending?
And that poor musicianship part? Really? listen to the arrangements in "Let it be" more notable during the bridge, and come back and talk about poor musicianship. The same goes with "Come together", the work Lennon did on that one is fabulous, and the simplicity of Help is transcending.
Don't get me wrong I have any problem with you not liking the Beatles, but don't make your case a normality.
Oh and I've never ever heard a cover of "Let it be" that comes close to the Paul Mc Cartney's version. They never claimed to be vocal beasts, that wasn't their goal, they wanted to make magic MUSIC with powerful lyrics that conduct real emotions and they totally succeed at it.
And I'm not even a Beatles's fan, actually I find them sighly overrated.

Michael's catalogue is so short compare to them...still being the best selling artist of all time proportionately...it's just incredible...

Nobody comes for the Beatles in terms of sales, NOBODY. Michael's sales are impressive considering that he only released 6 albums in his adult career, but the Beatles own everyone.

Considering that Mike's estate gets $$$$ every time someone buys Beatles music, I'm sure he's fine with this.
