I never accused her of throwing shade diectly, its just my opinion and interpretation, and I dont intend to be making her look bad either. I still love Nicki and I think she is unqiuely talented as you have pointed out (as much as I felt she threw shade I understand where it would come from, like if she did she had a legit reason)
But there is a lesson to be learned from this. What I have been saying is, media drawing comparisons, as much as it may go too, far, its unavoidable. It happens to every artist, and theres a way as to how such problems are to be handled. I just wish her last tweet was more like the quote from your last point of that post.
You cant blame billboard for making such assumptions because they are not concerned with what she did when she was underground. So if Gagas 'little monsters' idea was popularised before Nicki came into the mainstream scene , its only typical of them to assume shes copying gaga (Even though shes not). The media is a very sensitive issue, and a good celebrity must be able to deal, without it getting the better of them. I may not have had any MAJOR problem with her tweets, but someone will be very pressed, and that is what makes me unhappy about such shenanigans
-Tell how the hell is she throwing shade at Gaga?!! She's throwing shade AT THE MEDIA. The MEDIA started this mess. And all people do is FEED into it.
