So I just bought Bruno Mars' new CD and it's the first time I've bought a physical copy of a CD since Jay-Z's black album...but with all the new stuff coming out in the next few weeks I've decided that I'm going to stop buying cd's on Itunes like I've done in the past for my favorite musicians and start buying the cd's themselves in order to start a new collection...

I was just wondering if anyone actually still buys cd's? If you do, do you just buy them for your favorite artists or anyone that looks interesting? Or do you just flat out DL your stuff off limewire or other share sites, or do you buy off Itunes?

iTunes for the most part... I have only bought 3 albums but I only have 150 songs or so on my ipod alot my songs are from old cds.

I DL and I also still buy album's
But i only buy actual album's if the artist is my fav(beysus) Or if an artist is actually coming out with something solid and attractive to me and that goes for new and old artist.

If you're a true fan, you buy the physical CD, download it on iTunes, as well as also getting it on vinyl.

At least that's what I did with GaGa's two releases.

There's not really much of a difference between iTunes and CDs anymore since iTunes albums generally come with digital books or iTunes LP.
I only buy CDs from my favs. Even then, sometimes I'll buy them on iTunes just because I'm lazy.
The only artists who I will get the physical album every time are Gaga and Nicki.

When I go to music stores is like girls going to clothes stores, I stay there looking at all CD's and wishing I could buy all that :heart:

ya like I said b4 I bought Bruno Mars at FYE and became a member there for discounts so I'm definitely going to start a collection. I also bought with it a physical copy of Thank Me Later even though I already bought it on Itunes (which sounds stupid and wasteful, but I'm a hardcore Drake fan so I had to).

I have a bookshelf that I just started filling over the summer with novels and books that I've read out of leisure, and I kind of want to do a cd version of that. Maybe somewhere down the road I'll start collecting dvd's idk...we'll see I can't just be throwing money around
