But the Ravens D failed to close out the game. Shame, but I knew we'd lose this one.

This game was ********. The score should have been either 19-21 Ravens win or 16-21 Ravens win. 2 of the falcons touchdowns should not have been touchdowns. Here are two reasons why the Ravens lost.

1-One Atlanta guy face masked Terrell Suggs and the referees called a face mask on Baltimore so that gave the falcons 15 more yards and a first down which lead to a touchdown. But keep in mind, this was a 3rd down play. If the falcons were penalized (they should have been), they would go 15 yards back and would have a great chance of punting the ball back to Baltimore. That would have been 7 less points for the Falcons.

2-This was the final scoring of the game. Matt Ryan threw a long pass to an Atlanta guy. He pushed down the Baltimore guy to the ground, caught the ball, and got a touchdown. The referees did not call a flag at all. That would have been a field goal and 3 less points for the falcons, since they did not make the two pointer.

Pretty much every penalty was in favor for the Falcons. Poor Baltimore having to deal with those rigged referees. I still like the Falcons, and they are a great team. I am not too happy with the Steelers being #1, but I just hope they can beat the HORRIBLE New England Patriots.

I agree, except that I'm rooting for NE (BAL beats PIT in the head-to-head). I had this as a loss for the Ravens, but not like this. I can't stand all the sports analysts dickriding Matt Ryan either.

But I've calmed down since Thurs. My friend texted me to say "step away from the ledge" lol, so I'll take his advice. Whatever, the Ravens will likely make the playoffs. We know Flacco can win playoff games. When will Matt Ryan dew it?
