Crystal is featured on a duet titled "I Run For Life" with Melissa Etheridge in support of Breast Cancer awareness. The duet is now currently available on iTunes for download.
Crystal tweeted she's doing a video for Farmer's Daughter, so I think its going to be the debut single. Song very much has that Melissa Etheridge vibe. So, IDK where Jive is going to go with this; HAC, AA or maybe even Country.
“Farmer’s Daughter” reportedly Crystal's new single

t appears that Crystal Bowrsox may have won the battle of the first single.
It was previously reported by Crystal at a recent VH1 performance, that the Kara Dioguardi co-penned “Hold On” would be the first single from the Season 9 runner-up’s debut album Farmer’s Daughter. But, after making the announcement, she took to twitter to complain about it.
Now, AINOW is reporting that “Farmer’s Daughter”, the song she wanted as her first single is indeed her new single. The song has already gotten spins on radio stations (It’s due to make it’s Chicago debut tonight) is streaming at her My Space and is currently featured at Billboard.
All signs point to “Farmer’s Daughter” as Crystal’s new first single. Congrats, Crystal on getting your way! The downside is that the less accessible “Farmer’s Daughter” with its explicit language and troubling theme (child abuse) will be a harder sell to pop radio than “Hold On”.
