Is this a sign that in 2010, a dance-oriented mainstream song can't go #1? (Besides Like A G6) Can this change in 2011?

Just because a song doesnt got Number 1 on the US BBH100 doesnt mean it wasnt mainstream. :?

From the way its going it will probably have over 120 Airplay in a few weeks. How is that not mainstream? I really dont think you can compare it to WMN as tbh WMN is a more radio friendly single that OG. And with so much radio support suddenly (like with-in 2 weeks) people are going to buy it.
But anyway, I do see what you are on about in this Thread. I think that in 2011 The US will have more than 3 Dance oriented songs at #1. (Euro Pop and stuff). What i dont really understand, is that why didnt the US 'accept' dance music in the last year like lots of other countries did. Look At david guetta, he scored numerous #1 in lots of countries with his music but none (only a top 10 single) in the US.
