Are there songs out there you loved/liked when you first heard it, but it took you forever to find it?
It's happened to me a few times.
My most notorious one was when I first heard Natalie Imbruglia's "Torn" on 104.3 My FM. I was only 3 back in 1997, and 4 in 1998 when it was popular, so I didn't first hear it til' I was either 13 or 14 in 2007 or 2008. I liked it when I first heard it...but then for over 2 years, I had no idea who sung it.
Natalie Imbruglia and the song title "Torn" came up in a few threads so I looked it up on Youtube 2 months ago and I finally figured out that it was her.
So yeah, that's just a prime example of what I mean.
Pretty much every '90's song that I kinda remember from the radio.
Beyond that, Evacuate the Dancefloor by Cascada. All I remembered was "still the night, kill the lights" from the lyrics. I spent an hour on hotlyrics.net and youtube.
