Well, million-selling weeks aren't that common to begin with. But I'd like to see some hard numbers before you make a claim like that.

lil wayne album leaked 1 month and a half before it's release so it was a shock that it sold 1 million first week ! A 71% drop was highly expected.

You posted HDD numbers. According to Billboard TCIII only dropped 69% in the second week & sold 309K:

Bottom line is 60%+ drops are normal, despite of leaks, etc etc etc.

Tha Carter III sold 309K 2nd week, so it also dropped significantly, even with a big hit (Lollipop). The hype sales go away. She doesn't have a huge hit right now, Mine is going relatively unnoticed.

Her album has gotten good reviews and her previous two albums were huge before Kanye was even a thought. ****, her first albums sold more than all of Kanye's releases. The music economy this year is much worse than two years ago.

Are there really people claiming which million was "more" impressive? It's A MILLION copies in a week in a time where 70% of albums don't even reach that total. Just because Wayne leaked doesn't make it anymore impressive, he was hyped and sold big, same for Taylor. Both were going to sell big regardless of any type of leak, Taylor was predicted to months ago.
