When you are young like that and surrounded by girls, this happens a lot but they end up being straight.
Not like there's anything wrong with being gay.
Eh...
I dressed up as Blossom from PPG for Halloween when I was in elementary school.
Flash forward about ten years and I'm not interested in men.
Dressing up as a girl for Halloween doesn't make a boy gay... especially when he's not even old enough to grasp the concepts of sex and love.
He could turn out gay, he could turn out straight... as the mom said, it's no one's business.
(But wtf, why is she publicly writing about this and posting a picture?? If my folks did stuff like this back in my Blossom days and I found out about it later, I'd kill them. Not. cool.)
Heterosexual - one who has sex with members of the opposite sex.
Homosexual - one who has sex with members of the same sex.
Bisexual - one who has sex with members of either sex.
his mom is so damn dumb . death @ her naive ass expecting everybody to go normally about their day. of course the ppl had no right to be rude, but thats LIFE, bitch and when u expose ur child like that u should expect ppl to be rude. IDK why these parents are running around giving their child false hope that the world is perfect and that everybody will automatically accept them. i dont have a problem with him dressing like a girl, but his mom is an idiot and should be slapped for exposing her child to any possible harm and ridicule .

You decide who you ****.
WRONG.
You're homosexual if you are attracted to the same sex. I could have sex with a girl but that wouldn't make me straight, genius.
If you think that me allowing my son to be a female character for Halloween is somehow going to ‘make’ him gay then you are an idiot. Firstly, what a ridiculous concept. Secondly, if my son is gay, OK. I will love him no less. Thirdly, I am not worried that your son will grow up to be an actual ninja so back off.
This part is so warm. It's very true and from the heart.

But it also was heartbreaking to me that my sweet, kind-hearted five year old was right to be worried. He knew that there were people like A, B, and C. And he, at 5, was concerned about how they would perceive him and what would happen to him.
This saddened me so much. It's sad to know 5-year-old kids already worrying about being mistreated.
