Do you think re-releases are more effective than just releasing another album?

They are very worth it, the only drawback is when an artist releases the re-release EP, then people like to claim it's a new album, when it's not at all

When your fave re-releases with 10 extra songs, yes it is worth it.

I think the reason I don't like them is because of David Guetta, not necessary for One Love to be released like four times. If you really need to release new songs, make an EP.

If it's a a re-release like TFM or GGGB then yes, it's worth it. People want new songs and they'd rather get them sooner in the form of a re-release or an EP, rather than waiting longer for an artist to record a new album.

As far as if I'd buy it: If the artists releases it a deluxe album and EP, yes. If they just re-release the album with the same 10 or 12 song plus 2 or 3 more, no.
