Omg Cahleb I hadn't thought about that, it would literally be under $3 to complete the standard edition album. (Assuming the album will be sold for $7.99)
the countdown isn't a bad idea. people will flock to buy the singles and then they'll be able to complete the album for like an additional 3-5 dollars or something and they'll totally bite on that! everybody needs to go buy this single and get it to #02 on iTunes!! it needs to debut in the top ten!

I guess I see the advantage of the tactic (with the countdown). I hated the idea yesterday. But I'm personally disappointed we'll only be getting 3 or 4 new tracks on the release week, depending on how different the final version of C U Next Tuesday is.
