MARIAH CAREY, up until now, has been mum about rumors she is carrying a baby boy for husband Nick Cannon. The multi-award winning singer will break her silence in a forthcoming interview with Oprah Winfrey, according to HollyBaby.com Mariah Carey (40) has apparently refused to confirm the pregnancy because she is 'superstitious' and will not reveal any details until the time is right. An insider close to Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon said:
"She's having a boy, but the reason that Mariah didn't want to say anything is because she is 40.....
When the baby finally comes out, she'll realize the baby is more worth than her entire career. I love how she's going into another phase in her life. She's been working so hard for the past 20 years. It's now time for her to build a family whom she will share the fruits of her labor.

I hate it when artists have baby's music should be their life not family... Nah just kidding.. As long as she's still releasing (same goes for bey if she ever does) then it's fine by me
Mariah should just be honest with this pregnancy issues. She's not a teenage girl anymore, she has a stable life. And she can't act like she just ate a whale and be bloated forever.

All these stories about Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon having a boy—they are concocted. Mariah sent me an email last night that I will share with you about the baby's gender.
She wrote: "We don't know yet - I promise! I really will be happy either way!" Mariah and Nick have a three part sit down with Billy Bush on "Access Hollywood" starting tonight. This morning, Billy promo's the announcement on the Today show.
Mariah will be home in bed, feet up, watching the show. Or maybe, fast asleep, and will watch the playback later today.
Either way, that's the story. Baby coming in early spring. Album out on Tuesday.

I got a little emotional there...... the miscarriage thing was really sad. I'm so happy they got through it. Mariah is such a strong person to keep a smile on her face and to remain happy with everyone like nothing was wrong.
I'm so so so happy for her and Nick now, though. The pregnancy is finally confirmed and they look so happy, especially her. I just pray it's a healthy process and wish them the best of luck. I know they're gonna be excellent parents.
But happy for them.
