"Teen Mom" star Amber Portwood's volatile behavior has damaged more than just her relationship with her ex-fiancé and baby daddy, Gary Shirley.

According to Life & Style, the 20-year-old has come off as such a disliked person, local businesses and residents in Anderson, Ind. are fed up with her antics.

In fact, the owner of a local store has banned Portwood from filming any more scenes of the MTV reality show on its premises.

"My stomach actually rolled while watching ‘Teen Mom,'" Randy Good, owner of Good's Candy Store, told the mag. "Amber was filmed in the store, but now she's gone — for good. I thought it was just awful, and because she's local, it somehow made it worse."

So what makes Portwood so unwelcome in her own town?

In addition to her sour attitude, Portwood has been caught on camera punching Shirley several times, including one hard hit to the face, before kicking him in the back as he walked down a flight of stairs. The Anderson Police Department is reportedly investigating the incident as an assault.

Adding more fuel to the fire, a local newspaper, the Herald-Bulletin, recently published a harsh editorial slamming the single mom as a "jobless buffoon."

"Reality shows prey on featuring people who appear to be undereducated, narcissistic and full of anger," the piece read. "And that's the image Americans are getting of Anderson. We in Anderson know we're better than that."

"'Teen Mom' is not the national image Anderson wants," the editorial went on. "The next time you see our teen mom in the store, point out that she is hurting this city. We don't push our loved ones down stairs. We don't take pride that our teenage girls are 16 and pregnant. We don't all drop out of high school."

What she did was wrong, but not welcome in your town? wow that's a bit harsh. I don't agree with realty stars being undereducated, that is just generalizing. They are some reality stars that have went to college and have degrees. They just happen be on a reality show. So for them to say that is stupid.

They need to give her a break.

dont get me started in how much i dislike this damn show, like they show them struggling with money and finances when they're getting a large paycheck by MTV, i hate this show soooo much

she obviously has severe depression/anger issues and shunning her for her own community isn't going to fix that.

She quite clearly has serious anger issues.

They make 5K per episode, how their struggling I dont know.

Wow.

That sucks to not be welcome in her own town but she got some issues that she needs to work on.

I feel for Amber. She shouldn't have taken care of it in the manner she did but Gary was very irritating from just watching. Everybody has a limit.

Despite reported attempts to mend their damaged relationship, the ex-fiance of "Teen Mom" star Amber Portwood has had enough of her shenanigans.

According to Life & Style, Gary Shirley, the father of Portwood's nearly 2-year-old daughter Leah, has already moved out of the apartment the couple used to share in Anderson, Ind. and is moving on with his life.

"Gary loves Amber, but he wants custody of Leah," Shirley's best friend, Jordan Sanchez, tells the mag. "Leah is with Gary almost all the time."

As a result of the stress stemming from the possible domestic battery charge, the 20-year-old single mom has allegedly turned to medication to cope.

Sanchez claims the volatile reality star has a prescription for the addictive anti-anxiety drug Klonopin, which is often used to relieve panic attacks. Severe drowsiness and dizziness are said to be among the medication's side effects.

"I worry that she could be abusing it," Sanchez says. "I've seen her take multiple Klonopin at a time. There are days where she sleeps until 7 o'clock at night."

The powerful medication has apparently made Portwood lose her appetite as well.

According to Sanchez, Portwood has become so depressed in recent days that she has resorted to using her problems as a way to win back her ex.

"Gary has told me that Amber is bipolar. It's gotten pretty bad," Sanchez says. "Gary told me that there have been several instances where Amber would say to him, ‘Come home or I'm gonna kill myself,' and he'd fall right into her trap."

Amber needs to get it together. I hope she gets the help she needs.

this girl is a mess. too bad she deleted her twitter, otherwise i'd go off on her. she does have a facebook, though.

It'll probably be best in the long run if Gary does get custody, at least until Amber gets her act together.
