Well the announcer said that her album would be released in early 2011, so I guess it's official haha

Well they said early 2011 so here's hoping. She's also been back in the studio so hopefully things are moving along.

He's only the head of Interscope, Blackground is responsible for her.

Yep but Interscope stands to make money off her album release as well so hopefully they'll push Blackground a bit

I wonder if they could buy her out of her contract with Blackground?

There's always the possibility if Interscope thought the album was a surefire hit that they'd buy her out so they could release it, but I don't see Blackground letting her go easily since she's like the last person with talent on that label. Hopefully once all I want is everything is out her contract will end and Interscope will sign her.
