BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Some say you can't reduce friendship to a number, but that doesn't stop social network sites from giving it a try.
So who comes out on top in the online popularity battle royale?
At the beginning of the month, Forbes magazine compiled a list of the fastest growing Facebook pages.
Believe it or not, number one is Texas Hold 'Em Poker with 24.5 million fans. The company Zynga has a lot of online "social" games that dominate Facebook's pages.
Number 2: This one isn't so much of a surprise. Michael Jackson with 21 Million Fans. Even after his death, his site is constantly updated with news.
Number 3: The official Facebook page itself with 20.9 Million Fans. By the way, Facebook itself has 500 million users.
Number 4: The most popular living celebrity on Facebook, Lady Gaga with 19.6 million fans.
Number 5: Next is the only TV show on the list, Family Guy with 18.4 million fans. The show first aired in 1999, and obviously has quite the following.
Number 6: Kind of a surprise, Vin Diesel with 16.3 Million Fans.
Number 7: Eminem with 15.5 Million fans. So how popular is he? His latest album, Recovery, is his sixth consecutive release to top the Billboard charts at No. 1.
Number 8: YouTube's official page with 15.2 million fans.
Number 9: The popular teen vampire franchise Twilight, with 15 million fans.
Number 10: Starbucks with 14.7 Million Fans.

You'll remember Joe Arena and Victoria Hong had a competition not so long ago to see who could get the most friends. Victoria eeked out Joe at the end of that contest, Monday, Vic's got 1,547, Joe's got 1,548!
Definitely not. I don't know where he was before he died, but Barack Obama was #1 before MJ took over his spot last summer.
It's still impressive that he makes significant gains every week, considering that he's not doing anything (obviously) and his page really isn't updated that often.
Gaga will pass him by the end of the year, though.
